Michael,

    Mine, too.

>Do I need to add any pppd arguements?

I don't know. I skipped that part out of ignorance. kppp works o.k.,
nevertheless.

>How do I fill out the DNS window?

1. In the DNS space, key in the primary numbers.
2. Click on "Add"
3. repeat above steps for the secondary numbers, if available.

I think most users can probably skp the Gateway section.

In my case, it was taken care of by filling in just the basic
requested items. No need to come up with my own login script.

Is the "linuxconf" command a part of your Linux? I have installed
Linux Mandrake 6.0 several times in the past couple of weeks (usually to get
a program I should have included during the previous install). Sometimes,
it took me quite a while to get kppp running right. Yesterday was the
latest time I tried to get kppp to work.
I couldn't get anywhere. After I ran "linuxconf" at the command line and
chose to activate the latest detected changes to the system, kppp worked.
Could have been just a fluke.

http://www.caldera.com has an online installation guide for Open Linux
2.2. It has good step-by-step kppp setup guide that may be of help.
http://www.linux-mandrake.com perhaps has a link to kppp help.

      Good luck,
         Don
