Beth and the PC Jamboree team also created a brochure for tomorrows
Installfest, which describes the layout of activities at the
jamboree. The installfest is actually a part of a larger PC
Jamboree hosted by our umbrella organization, Sac PC Users Group.
There will be an introduction to the internet, a discussion on
using mailing lists (I imagine you are acclimated to mailing lists if you
are reading this), and help booth for those feeling a bit paranoid
about the y2k "problem". Of course we lug-nuts know that 2038 is
when the real problem rolls around. We ought to do a survey of
people who are prepared for the 2038 problem. Fortunately, the GPS
problem just passed. Did you guys know that, that there was a GPS
problem where clocks on some GPS units rolled over. Hmm, I did
not see any satellites fall out of the sky.

This PC Jamboree will once again be a good place to show off linux.

For the pdf brochure, check the website. It's 58k.
