I have two sparc's running linux. Each of them have 192 megs of ram. They
run pretty quick for normal use. It's nothing like a pentium III though.
;) Compiling takes a bit longer so I just compile on one box and move the
binary over to the other if both boxes need it. They are both servers so X
isn't on there however I did have X on them when I was playing with them.
Redhat 6.0 had some problems with GNOME (suprise), but X ran well. Every
now and again X crapped out but I never took the time to fix it. Also I
had some problems running netscape on them. Other then netscape and X they
work like champs. 192 megs helps. The more RAM the better :)
