I don't have the email that offered used PC parts at the SACLUG meedting
12/8, or I would reply directly to that person, but this is for person woho
brought the stuff (Andy). those two removeable drive bays don't work. I
already have a couple and I thoroughly tested those, couldn't get either to
work (although I got a good scare when my new $160 motherboard went on the
blink after sticking one of those drives in!). The mobo is ok, but I
couldn't get either of those to work at all. When I asked if they were good,
you stated "I just pulled them out of some PCs" (maybe not exact words) but
I presumed you meant "Yes, they work." Apparently, I was wrong. They were
NOT advertised as "they may work, they may not" (I wouldn't have bought
them, that's why I specifically asked). As I am not in the habit of buying
useless electronics parts (junk), could we return my $20 and I'll give you
back your parts? The hard drive works fine. I tried those removeable with
various disks in various configs., did not wee any of the hard drives come
up when I put them in your removeables. Long story less long, they don't
work, I don't feel good about that that since I was led to believe they do
and you offered no disclainmer whatsoever, I'm sure this was an honest
mistake. Thanks, email me back. Take it easy.
