Well you can try the DSO (Dynamic Shared Module) support. That depends on
the version of apache
that you are running. It's in the apache readme I believe. Apache will
use php as a loadable module if it's configure right in the httpd.conf
file. If the current version of apache doesn't support DSO, compile from
source and you should STILL use DSO. That way if you want to add anything
new to apache you don't have to recompile the binray every time. The
LoadModule function of apache is very cool :)
