[Lug-Nuts] Stopping rc.local from executing

I might have a problem with my rc.local or my startup scripts. My server seems to have rebooted possibly do to a power glitch with the high windws. It was hung about 2/3s of the way through my startup (last message was mysql starting). HTTP, mysql, networking, FTP all started ok but webmin, ssl and my quake servers did not come up, they are in the rc.local file. The console was hung and would not respond to ctrl+z or ctrl+c either. One of the phone jockeys at my ISP is hitting the reset button as I type. I need to know is there a way to have linux step though the startup script so I can see what might be the issue (assuming it does the same thing again) or have it skip the rc.local file altogether?. Oh and Yes I made some changes to my rc.local file where quake, ssh, portsentry all reside so I might have bunged it up. DOH!!!

All help is appreciated.

Scott
