The HOWTO was the best thing I found when I tried the PPP stuff. It's been
ages since I dialed up using a linux box :) The PPP GUI stuff in KDE
rocks. It's as easy as win9x if I remember correctly. If you don't want to
use the GUI and actually LEARN how all this works, then the HOWTO is the
best thing in my opinion. You'll need a program called minicom to talk to
your modem and make sure that everything works. Minicom doesn't come as a
standard install though on rh6.0 so you'll ever have to download it or rpm
if off the cd. I would suggest doing it without the gui first. You'll earn
major geek points :)
