I can see there is going to be a bit of pressure to get this thing
moving. As far as I know Jim will allow you to have a shell account,
so yes, you can have an email @saclug.org . As far as
having a longer_name@saclug.org that exceeds 8 characters, we will
have to work on that one, because that will involve changing the
/etc/aliases file and of course rerunning aliases for the sendmail aliases
database. I hope we will run sendmail. Maybe there is a script out there
that does this. Anyway, I hope to get the dns entry in shortly. I should
have it by this weekend. Then jim will have to configure the machine. I
don't know how much work that will be. I think he is ready to go.
