There is a readme somewhere (either mysql site or cobalts site) that
tells exaclly what to do in order to compile mysql on them. The newer
versions might have autoconf detect and do the right thing. I ran into
problems with the DBI/DBD, but fixed it with adding the path to the
mysql libs in /etc/ld.so.conf.
