I wouldn't buy a Tyan Trinity s1598. My son bought one and had nothing but
trouble with it. He RMA'd to Tyan and got a replacement. The replacement
was better, but he had to mess around a lot with VIA drivers to make things
work. He's not running Linux at the moment; he has OS/2 and Win98 on it.

Subject: [Lug-Nuts] good K6-III motherboard

I just bought a couple K6-III CPU's and I was thinking of using Trinity
s1598
motherboard. Problem is, I can't get it. Fry's is out of it.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a motherboard to use with this CPU.
What's a good place to get an 8 meg AGP card?
