tcsh and bash are close to each other in functionality. bash has more
features than tcsh in some areas, and tcsh also has a few more features
over bash. zsh has all the features of both shells and then some.

As for real UNIX admins, most of the ones I see using real Unix (!Linux)
are using the C shell (on BSD variants) or the Korn shell (SYSV
variants).
